
Fany O’Bomsawin graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Université de Montréal and was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1999. Prior to her law studies, she obtained a specialized Baccalaureate in industrial relations from the same university.
She advises employers with regards to collective labour relations as well as individual relations on all aspects of relations with their employees such as hiring, disciplinary management and performance, dismissal, etc.
She represents the interests of employers before Common Law tribunals, particularly in the matters of notice period, injunction and judicial review, as well as before administrative tribunals, in the matters of grievances and recourses as per the Labour Law Code and An Act respecting labour standards. She also acts as a spokesperson during collective agreement negotiations. Furthermore, she is a lecturer and instructor in Labour Law topics of current affairs.
Fany is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés du Québec.
